I'm definitely on a lookout of some great stuff out there. Here are my picks so far.
Cashmere:
So far, this are the good sites-- lots of class and can last forever in your closet. But I have yet to save up for that "one" cardigan/top. Good deals ongoing!
I like the one from CF - it's cute and curve-forgiving! both are 100% cashmere! CF has a lot of sale as well!

Wool:
I think they're more durable and can stand the test of my washer or my son's tagging. These are great cool looking pieces. Made in USA! A tad pricey but could be worth the buy for long term.
http://shop.symmetrygoods.com/ They have pretty cool and unique style ideas.
A new one came up yesterday at dailycandy called shopmayu.com for really neat alpaca wool designs. I like the social responsibility awareness of this site as their wool source are from the alpacas in Peru.

Silk:
Nice and light. I live in CA so this can work all year!
I'm excited to see my scarf I got from this chic place in Portland. †These gals are so creative and eco-conscious. Love that.
They are called plainMADE:http://retailmadeplain.com/collections/printed/products/falseknit-scarf
That's a wrap!

style watch11/5: Oxford Flats
Inspiration: just the androgynous appeal reminds me of the great images of Diane Keaton in Annie Hall and Katharine Hepburn.
I would love to try these other oxfords next to my Zehas. All are italian made, reasonably priced and would last longer than those ten made in china pairs of shoes in your closet combined.
Zeha Berlin - Toe Cap Oxford at www.lark.me
(amazing fit - no breaking in required. great with skirts, dresses and cropped pants. they're my staple black shoes!)

my profile photo is the result of a three-month of intense search of a great pair of oxfords. it was exhausting believe you me! it's a real process-may sound silly but i learned a lot about leather and a little bit about many brands out there who makes truly serious leather oxfords for women.
love my new zehas!
love my new zehas!
my personal style
I've always thought that bloggers are just a bunch of show-offs and I'm really not a big fan of blogs until i found some of my favorite fashion sites. i even don't talk on FB - i just really wanted to "watch" or read what people say - sometimes they're really TMI...tsk, tsk, tsk...no, thanks.
However, what I really like to do is to create some sort of a fashion diary - a diary of styles that are classy and enduring. I hope to find really great photos from some great sites with really great, tasteful inspiration.
There are some really good sites with some really hard to find, high quality, long lasting, good for the soul, less-is-more, classic finds. some are shopping sites some creative (photography) sites, and even really good deals.
I've recently changed the way i consume - i promise myself this: buy only what i really love at the price i can afford, things that are admirable and I will learn to appreciate more over many, many years --
